Grade R
Although letter and number recognition is important, it is quickly revised during term one, so that we can begin reading three-letter words and completing simple addition in term two.
In Grade R we work closely with our parents to ensure our learners are at a school readiness level. We have collaborated with an Occupational and Physio therapist as well as with an Educational Psychologist to discern the best holistically developed programme for our Seniors.
Our main goal,is to have our Grade R’s enter Grade 1 with an advantage in all learning areas. While ensuring they are emotionally, socially and mentally ready in becoming a little fish in a big pond.
Making Memories
Our little ones take part in all our special school activities. At Kingscastle Preprimary School we understand that kids grow up way too fast and we make it our mission to create special memories for you and your child. Here are some of our special events that we arrange every year.
