About Us

A Message from the Principal

At Kings Castle Pre-Primary, we know that choosing a preschool for your child is a very important decision for the entire family and that is why we pride ourselves in attaining a strong and positive relationship with all our families and we encourage free and open communication betweenschool and home, as it is extremely important in ensuring your child’s success in all learning areas.

Your preschooler will have the opportunity to learn and play with his/her peers in a variety of different ways. Various activities, both teacher led and student initiated, encouraging your child to become independent and confident.
Our curriculum is derived from CAPS and altered to accommodate the requirements of the schools we feed, namely: St Benedict’s; Assumption Convent and Holy Rosary. We include an array of exciting and interesting themes, which are planned in concentric circles, starting with the child’s natural world and from there, expanding their knowledge into broader topics. A few examples covered throughout the school year include: My Family; Water; Recycling; Dinosaurs; Technology around usand many more! This approach will allow us to spend a great deal of time on different projects, experiments, and structuredplay. Yearly activities are planned around these themes and are included in our Calendar to enhance the learning experience and allow for hands-on questioning, problem-solving and logical thinking, such activities include the Mobile Theatre, field trips and guest speakers.

Our main focus is to lay a solid foundation, preparing your child for Primary School and beyond. We strive to offer a quality, nurturing, and a productive learning environment for your little one, encouraging them to grow freely therefore standing by our motto “Freedom to grow” and for you, the parent, a daily peace of mind.

I look forward to welcoming you into our Kings Castle family.

The Pre-Preschool

Kings Castle was born on the 1st of March 2011 and started with only 34 students. We have undergone a huge face lift, complete with new classrooms, new floors, windows, doors, ceilings and kitchen. Along with all the structural changes to the building, our playground has been improved every year and now we have two separate playgrounds, one for our toddlers and one for our seniors, both equipped with the essential apparatus needed to stimulate and grow the children’s imagination and holistic development.
